Of Body and Light

Of Body and Light is a computational media installation that explores, renders, and records the body’s physiological and psychological state in real time. To achieve this objective, various sensors are attached to the body, which output real-time data to Processing via Arduino. Medical research provides a baseline for each sensor gathering biometrics, allowing for Processing to alter sketches based on the strain and/or calm of the body and mind. Of Body and Light will act as a visual experiment that challenges users to directly address and create real-time representations of their state of being.
